Welcome to The Crockery

The Crockery is a great place for fun and relaxation. Come and paint your own designs onto our ceramic items in our bright friendly ceramic café.

Children and adults of all ages can do it; you don't need to be artistic, just come and have some fun. Simple designs can end up looking great and we have a wealth of ideas to hand and friendly staff to help and advise.

How It Works

We:	guarantee a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere.
You:	pick a pot from our extensive range including: mugs, plates, tea pots, egg cups, vases, wine coolers and much much more!
We:	supply all the equipment: over 40 different colour paints (washable and non toxic), stencils, sponges, aprons along with inspiration and encouragement.
You:	get creative and paint your own unique piece. You can also have a drink and snack whilst you get arty.
We:	clean up any mess and professionally glaze and fire your piece in our kiln so it will last forever, be food safe, dishwasher and microwave proof.
You:	collect your finished piece from us in five days at a time convenient to you.
We:	get to see your smiling face as you collect your creation.

Don't forget you don't need to book you can just turn up to paint at any time, so why not come on down, indulge yourself and fire your imagination!!

What Does It Cost?

Studio fee

We charge a Studio Fee of £4.50 per painter per visit. This fee gives you unlimited use of paints and equipment and covers the cost of glazing and firing of your items. Then you just add the price of the piece(s) you choose from our wide range. Once you've paid your studio fee for the day you can stay and paint for as long as you like and paint as many items as you like.

Ceramic Items

We have one of the biggest ranges of ceramic items for you to choose from ranging in price from £2.50 to £40.00. Below are the prices for some of our most popular items.

Membership

Become a member of The Crockery and you don’t have to pay studio fees for a year. Members are entitled to an unlimited number of painting sessions and just pay for their items. It's the perfect gift for yourself, family member or friend, and costs just £45.

Membership is valid from the date on your membership card for one calendar year. For use only by the person(s) named on the card. Card must be produced each time you paint.

Gift Vouchers

We sell gift vouchers all year round. Our fun, hand painted vouchers make great presents. We also do personalised gift vouchers for baby's clay impressions.

Drinks & Snacks

Don't forget that you can get a nice Cappuccino or Hot Chocolate while you're painting and we also have a selection of snacks to tempt you.
